shah269 0 #27 September 15, 2010 Quote And why doesn't Shah even wonder that maybe these women come from family money? And the GUY went after HER for that reason so they didn't have to work as hard? Hmmmm..... It was just a guess! Relax! But if they were more power to them. Heck what guy would say no to a girl who made more than him or had more money then him? Hell I would love it if the next girl I find made more money than me! I'm cool with that. But at the moment that's kind of rare. Don't blame me. Blame society. And I keep work and life appart. I don't want to loose my job. It's not amazing but I like it and it pays well. LuckyMcSwervy 0 #28 September 15, 2010 Quote I think I looked ok. But looking at what the ladies were wearing my entire outfit cost less than the shoes one of them had on. What kind of shoes were they wearing? I am a professional shopper and even *I* have trouble sometimes spotting a particular designer.Always be kinder than you feel. One of my dad's doctors was a woman. Wouldn't give me the time of day. Maybe, "You come here often?" failed because she worked there every day. Need a better approach. shah269 0 #30 September 15, 2010 Quote What kind of shoes were they wearing? I am a professional shopper and even *I* have trouble sometimes spotting a particular designer. EXPENSIVE! I was out with my friend Nadine who has very expensive taste in clothing and shoes and I recall she had picked up a similar pair which were $1k as I recall. If they were the same...they looked to be...then yeah costs more than what I had on. If they were knock offs....then heck who knows? But they were blingtastic. Either way who knows, but must be nice to be able to sit at home and take care of the kids and live where they live. Not cheap at all, I think the average property tax there is about $20k.Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay. skybytch 273 #31 September 15, 2010 QuoteSo if the guy is bringing in 100% of the money at that level, what does she bring to the table? He doesn't have to think about any of life's minutiae. She can get the car(s) serviced, go to the post office, do the shopping, keep the house clean, do the laundry, go to the bank, change the bed, arrange for home repairs, cook meals, handle family social obligations... not to mention take care of the kids needs. Personally, I think everybody who works fulltime - male or female - needs a wife just like that. How nice would it be to always have clean underwear and sheets and dinner you don't have to cook and dishes you never have to wash... How much better could you focus on your career and your fun if you didn't have to think about any of that shit?

normiss 798 #33 September 15, 2010 Dude. With all the "shopping friends" and "lunch friends" you have...are you the gay guy they take along to help shop?? I'm just asking the pertinent questions here. I know a number of ladies that own their own business(s). That gives them a LOT of flexibility in their schedule. You wouldn't want a soccer mom though. They're typically a size 8.

JerryBaumchen 1,354 #41 September 15, 2010 Hi sky, I usually try to stay out of the holes that Shah likes to dig. Shah, you must own a back-hoe because you just seem to dig them deeper & deeper. My ex-wife lived the life that Shah described here; and I was very happy with it. Quote He doesn't have to think about any of life's minutiae. That was not her 'thing.' Those were very good days IMO and I was very grateful for her contibutions to the marriage & the household.
