Tormenting the 8th grade English teacher.

We could spend an hour going through the dictionary
for a word that no one would know. Then, as we were
having private discussions within his hearing, we'd use
the word.

He would have to look them up and was secretly astounded that we knew them.

The best ones are the ones that sound like a compliment...
