quade 4 #3 August 26, 2010 I'm not going to try to defend this kid, but . . . who among us has never taken a car to 100 mph? There is something more to the accident than just the speed. To me, it looks like the kid was attempting to pass on the left shoulder and got distracted when he noticed he'd just passed a cop while doing so.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

The cop had zero proof that I was and he told me that I shouldn't be doing 75 in a 45. I didn't try to correct him. QuoteThere is something more to the accident than just the speed. To me, it looks like the kid was attempting to pass on the left shoulder and got distracted when he noticed he'd just passed a cop while doing so. I've seen way too many close calls thanks to shoulder passers. In fact, I stopped in the middle of the road once because some geese were crossing. Some idiot flew past me on the shoulder going 45 and nearly killed them all. I've also come close to seeing some t-bone accidents because of this.Don't forget to pull! burtonjm 0 #7 August 26, 2010 I've had my car up to 135, but I don't do that anymore. Not worth dying/getting my license taken away. However, when I did do it, I knew that stretch of the highway, could see straight ahead for two miles, and there weren't any cars in front of meThis shit, right here, is OK
jtnesbitt 0 #8 August 26, 2010 Car, modded Eclipse Turbo, 135mph Bike, GSXR750, 147mph I dont do shit like that anymore though, it was stupid. That, and having a cop clock my friend and I (158 and 147 respectively) was a bit of an eye opener too. He went to jail, I didnt. I sold my GSXR for a skydiving rig and although I miss riding I enjoy skydiving and base jumping more."If this post needs to be moderated I would prefer it to be completly removed and not edited and butchered into a disney movie" - DorkZone Hero

The whole damn car shook and vibrated like it was about to disintegrate!
