traveling to Dubai for vacation and skydiving. Anyone that has visited there willing to share information about the dz and good hotels (reasonable) close to it please share. Must see things would be nice too. thanks

yeah i knew that and they gave me a hotel close by to check out. was just looking for any alternatives or you should try this hotel from people

When there in 2006 I jumped at the Umm Al Quwain Aeroclub. The DZ was right next to a world class water park and Yamaha sponsored professional grade motocross course where you can rent bikes. The view as it was next to the North Arabian sea on the ride to altittude wasn't bad either.

I would definitely call to make sure they are still up and running before making the drive though. They are about an hour outside of Dubai.

Keep in mind, in the middle east there weekend is Thursday and Friday. You won't get any help during those days. Good Luck.

I'd be surprised if that is still in operation... or why anyone would go there with a World Class DZ just left of the Palm... with a Porter, an Otter and Huey.... oh my :D
