iluvtofly 0 #1 August 9, 2010 Last I heard they weren't jumping because of all the fires. This late into what was supposed to be the comp has anyone heard what they plan to do? Extend the dates? Relocate? Cancel? Reschedule? I saw this article this morning and it really got me to wondering how long they're going to keep the competitors over there if there is no chance of them jumping. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/eu_russia_fires
AggieDave 6 #2 August 9, 2010 On FB this morning competitors were talking about supposedly getting to jump today as a practice day then starting the comp tomorrow.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

SkymonkeyONE 4 #8 August 9, 2010 They were jumping today. Three rounds I think. Lots of fuckers pounding in downwind during Speed rounds. Lovely.
Squeak 17 #9 August 9, 2010 Tuesday is start day, but a lot of teams have not even been able to practice. Our guys have made about 6 training jumps and that's way more than most. Rumours of canceling are out there, if the smoke does not abate. You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
