Not because there is soemthing to post - just tmi and not dating anyone... don't need to point that out week after week!! 1:0 Following suit. The monotony was getting sad. The King Air was gone for repairs. The Cessna was not much fun. So, one three way out of the Cessna on Friday to kick off the weekend. Hang gliding on Sunday. ETA: Took the B License exam just to see what was on it. I missed one oddball question. My verbal exam was WAY harder. And my jump resulted in landing 5m from the target. I could have landed on the target, but it is a flag. Would have hurt.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

They had two Caravans running, the second one being Kapowsin's spare A/C. Very fast and easy to get on a load. Next weekend, Lost Prairie.

JohnMitchell 16 #21 July 26, 2010 Canopy coaching is an awesome thing. Valinda took Luke Aiken's canopy course last year and learned more than she thought she ever could about flying her canopy. Time and jumps well spent. Nothing like a good injury to make ya ground shy, is there?
OlympiaStoica 0 #22 July 26, 2010 Oh ... I might owe beer for the first time stalling my canopy (toggle). Ian said that if he does't see us fully stalling the canopy, he will make us repeat the jump ... so, I went ahead and scared the poop out of myself ... I guess a broken ankle, missing the entire season and missing out on my entire summer would be considered a "good injury" ... yep, "ground shy" would be an accurate description of my state of mind, but I'm starting to get annoyed with myself. I have my technique right and I'm tired of hearing (and saying to myself): "I didn't have to do that" (bum tapping) ... Scared the daylights out of me ... once it stalled (and I started feeling like I'm falling out of the sky, backwards) I did what Ian said most people do - let the toggles back up really fast. Needless to say, that made the recovery really violent. Umm ... I won't be doing that again any time soon ... not on purpose ... O
