ridestrong 1 #27 July 20, 2010 Quote...is there anyway to make a soft bed more firm? YES! Buy one of those 'memory foam toppers', you can get them at quite a few places but I know they have them at Costco and Sam's Club. They work great for making a squishy mattress more firm... just make sure to get one of the thicker ones. There are also a ton of sites to buy them online.*I am not afraid of dying... Ive had a few of them, ranging from the 2" to the 4" foam, they tend to shrink, even just a simple fitted sheet on top of it, they eventually shrink and you have to take the sheet off (more than weekly) and let it expand again... I got tired of it. The only reason I use one now (regular foam) is because the mattres I have here, you can feel the springs thru, and I dont like that."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message

The ones Ive had were the foam 'blocks' tan in color, like a big piece of foam, nothing special Its annoyed me to the point I just stop using it."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
sriddy 0 #31 July 21, 2010 QuoteI'll try the plywood. Maybe I just need to SUICC and get a firmer mattress. If the plywood thing doesn't make it firm enough, place it on top of the mattress. Much more firm that way. ;)
kasch 0 #32 July 21, 2010 Actually thats not a bad idea. Put the plywood on top of the mattress and put and egg crate on top of the plywood....problem solved! Or just sleep on the floor?Sex with sith is like sex with a stripper. A lot of flashing lights and waving of glowing sabers, but in the end you end up with something dark and wrinkely. billeisele 130 #34 July 22, 2010 Quote I've flipped the head where its now the footer, but this one cant be flipped over. You know, I just hate when mattresses build 'dents' in them over time, even though you move around. No matter where on the edge you start, gravity ends up rolling you into the middle! I'll try the plywood. Maybe I just need to SUICC and get a firmer mattress. before you spend the bucks on the wood, put the mattress on the floor and try it a couple nights, the plywood won't be as firm but it will give you an idea of how it will feelGive one city to the thugs so they can all live together.
