TriGirl 333 #31 July 2, 2010 Two songs, both by Rise Against: "Injection" (AFF students can probably relate) and "Ready to Fall." I also get "Survive" in my mind when I'm in the tunnel, but that's for the music, not necessarily the lyrics. Last Z-Hills scramble I found "Sober" by Tool in my head, but again, probably for the riffs more the lyrics.See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump! wmw999 2,541 #33 July 2, 2010 "Blue Skies" by Willie Nelson, and "Shall we Gather at the River" (used to be sung on teh way to altitude when I was first starting out) Lots of songs from teh fall of 1978, when I was working at a DZ. Particularly memorable ones include "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights" and "I Want to Kiss you All Over." MikeJD 0 #35 July 2, 2010 Quote Had iTunes on random tonight, and it played "My Vision" by Seal. Not 'Crazy'? 'In a world full of people, only some want to fly, Isn't that crazy?' My song is Jon Secada's 'Just Another Day'. Not a cool choice, but it was on constant play on the DZ radio in '92, when I was going through AFF - so it never fails to bring back those heady days. wmw999 2,541 #37 July 2, 2010 That was also a DZ song, but from later . Also used to describe the round-robin relationships that happened at DZs then, too Wendy P. BillyVance 34 #40 July 2, 2010 Although they don't have anything related to skydiving, I like AC/DC's Thunderstruck {no surprise there } and If You Want Blood (You've Got It) They are both kick ass songs. On a more mellower note - Pink Floyd's Learning To Fly. BillyVance 34 #44 July 2, 2010 IIRC, Megadeth had a song specifically about skydiving called High Speed Dirt.
