JohnMitchell 16 #2 May 25, 2010 That's one of many things my screening service checks on prospective tenants when I'm looking for new renters. It must be legal in Washington, thank goodness.
airtwardo 7 #3 May 25, 2010 It is in Texas...and anywhere that's worth renting in Houston asks. If you've had 3 misdemeanors or a felony conviction in the past 5 years most places will not rent to you. protects the property owner and YOU the renters as well. Should be part of the application fee, non-refundable if you don't qualify...applied to the rent when you do. ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~

It is part of the processing fee.TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly

davjohns 1 #15 May 26, 2010 Criminal offenses as an adult are public record. In most states, you can go down to the courthouse and check the state records on anyone you want.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
