AggieDave 6 #8 March 15, 2010 The little one is great. Honestly, he's not like what a lot of parents talk about in terms of fussy and such. We typically get up to feed him and that is all he needs during the night. Tonight he's just been really active. Am I proud? Damn straight!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
LongWayToFall 0 #9 March 15, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYDLv8rK4z8 I learned a new technique the other day, for helping to fall asleep faster. All you have to do is concentrate on your breathing, and try not to let your mind wander and think about random shit. It has helped me so far, give it a shot! My two girls were good babies and I honestly loved the wee hours of the morning where everything was still and quiet and it was just me and the little one rocking back to sleep. AggieDave 6 #14 March 15, 2010 Well, my lovely wife prepares a mommy-made bottle for me to use in the middle of the night so I can take one of the feedings. I have been taking the 5am feeding, since that is about when I wake up anyways. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." JohnMitchell 16 #15 March 15, 2010 Quote My two girls were good babies and I honestly loved the wee hours of the morning where everything was still and quiet and it was just me and the little one rocking back to sleep. Daddy didn't have the necessary equipment to be up in the middle of the night. Out of our four, the first two, from just weeks old, would sleep from 8 pm to 8 am without waking up. Now you know why we decided to have 4 kids. The next two were a little more typical, needing some feeding everynight. For the same reason you stated, Valinda always let me sleep for work the next day while she got up with the babies. Dave, you and your son a looking good. Welcome to fatherhood. Hey, I think he needs a BB gun.
DiverMike 5 #16 March 15, 2010 QuoteDaddy didn't have the necessary equipment to be up in the middle of the night. I used that excuse until my wife had twins. Then I became a middle of the night dairy farmer. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
