MikeJD 0 #26 March 10, 2010 September 1992. I was flanked by two national champions in RW (as it was known then). One was Chris Lynch - probably best known latterly as a canopy swooper - and the other was Rob Colpus, owner of the jumpsuit manufacturer Symbiosis Suits. Don't remember who was primary and who secondary, but I think it's safe to say I was in good hands. It's funny how as a newbie your AFF instructors have godlike status - and then as you and your contemporaries gradually gain experience and some of you get your own ratings, some of that mystique fades! Tiger6513 0 #27 March 10, 2010 I did a FJC at Vermont Skydiving in 2005 and honestly don't remember my Instructors, althought If I can find my Log book tonight I'll edit them in...nice guys though! Didn't have the cash for AFF Level 2 back then so last year we started again and did FJC at SkyDive the Point in West Point VA with Jim Crouch. My two instructors were Jason Whitt and Harry Parrish (R.I.P.). They created an great experience for my girl and I, her coaches were Dave Stoval and I believe Mark Woods. We were on the load #20 the Sunset load. Finished up AFF at Skydive Delmarva in DE and here we are on our way to our "A" this year and hopefully a very long skydiving future!Travis Roy Foundation. At very least its a tax write off

BTW, I filmed Chris's first jump, when he went threw AFF , he was our instant example tape for the course! (for almost every level for that matter) The guy was a natural from day one!He told me I couldn't fuck up 4 way w/ him. Nasty day. Big John went out w/ reverse grip. Went to hell quick, Have video somewhere. Have Chris's 1st video?
