1969912 0 #27 February 27, 2010 Quote Tsunami damage being reported in Ventura, California . . . NickD I'm watching a FOX live feed from CA, and the video is pretty impressive. Click "watch live", and then select "CA tsunami watch". They're showing a yacht heading into port, and the water is so low, it's churning up mud. Looks like the water is starting to rise now. http://interactive.foxnews.com/livestream/live.html?chanId=1 "Once we got to the point where twenty/something's needed a place on the corner that changed the oil in their cars we were doomed . . ." -NickDG

1969912 0 #30 February 27, 2010 Looks like the yacht found a parking place, but it looks like total muck. Brains 2 #33 February 27, 2010 Quote Quote My father is in Argentina right now. He flew in to Santiago on Wednesday and we haven't heard from him since. I need to find out how far over the mountains in Arg. he was going. I hope you are able to reach him. I'm sure communications are down due to the quake. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Thank you, prayers are needed. His flight out of Santiago was scheduled for this morning and that didn't happen obviously He is ok, his hotel is ok, not great, but he is stranded and they are running out of water. He is safe and unhurt and right now that is all i can hope for. Currently working to see if there is anything i can do to help get him out of there. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
