My HP laptop quit working, 96 days out of warranty. Called tech support. It's $59.99 for one call, $99.99 for a year's worth of tech support, and $109.99+tax for a year's hardware and software warranty. Okay, so I cough up the VISA # for the full meal deal, and the tech support began. -Pull off power cord. -Take out battery. -Hold down power button for 40 seconds. -Put battery back in, plug in power cord, and turn on computer. -It works.Pretty easy advice for $109.99+tax.You guys that know me well know I'm not too tech savvy, but I just got a professional lesson (screwing).Any ideas on how to make some hardware break over the next year to get my money's worth?
