format 1 #26 February 8, 2010 I remember some pretty cat names - Nyanya (female), in U.S. you call in a cat with "kitty kitty" while in Japan I beleive they say "nya nya nya nya" - Manees (female), I think it's Indonesian - Tass (male), this one was named after Tasmanian devil. Yep, that ugly. If I ever get a cat again, I'd name it Ju-Ju. Check the voice in the background of Swoop the Kongo video. He's repeating "Ju-Ju" many times. In some African languages it means "magic" like woodoo or so. Hmm... "Woodoo" is a nice name also However, it is good for a cat to hear this name only when you address her, that's why it should be some rare but melodic word (in my experience) What goes around, comes later. cloudclimr 0 #46 February 12, 2010 My Pet's names are (and these are cavies not cats): Walking Cloud Kicking Paw Squinting Face Little Bear Stands Alone I picked their names based on character, it took alittle time until I got to know them Our Bassett's name: Frederick Tait Richman of Stroudsburg...my husband named him. He always wanted a Fred, the dog came from Tait's Bassett's and we live in Stroudsburg. Rather than offer names, I'm offering how we came up with them. They're really adorable, good luck with the names.
