Nataly 38 #1 January 23, 2010 So after about 1 year, I've finally gotten myself to a hairdresser.. I HATE getting my hair cut, but it was getting really long & looking a bit limp.. So I figured since I live in London I might as well do a bit of research and find myself a top-notch stylist.. I know everyone's gonna think I didn't get much done, but she did cut a good 10 inches for the layers and the overall length is about 4 inches shorter.. To me it's a big difference! At £72, I thought it was a small fortune, but I'm so pleased with the result "There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss

Nataly 38 #5 January 23, 2010 Quote If you only go once a year, it's pretty cheap! lol My ex used to get his hair cut about every month and used to brag about it only costing £10.. But that's £120 per year, which is still way more than I just paid Besides.. A bad haircut is REALLY depressing. I know it's vain, but it's still true. xtravrtsoul 0 #7 January 23, 2010 It looks great and paying god money for a cut is the best way to go that way you go to someone who is trained well and you won't end up butchered. I love the new hair and it has some movement in it now. :)You create life, life does not create you.
Nataly 38 #8 January 23, 2010 Quote Quote If you only go once a year, it's pretty cheap! lol if i went 10 times a year it woud cost me that much I defy you to find a hairdresser that will cut a woman's hair for £7.20 in London!! Even a man's haircut is more than that.. At £10 you can expect the clippers to come out & for everything to end-up looking pretty lopsided.. VanillaSkyGirl 6 #18 January 23, 2010 I love it! It looks fantastic, Nataly! I cut my own hair, but hmm, maybe I should go to a stylist, someday. I'd love to have an even more sexy, sultry hairstyle...
virgigirlie 0 #19 January 23, 2010 First: I love your hair. I think it looks great. Second: QuoteI defy you to find a hairdresser that will cut a woman's hair for £7.20 in London!! Even a man's haircut is more than that. It's only happened a couple times, but if I walk into a place and they're charging women more than men, I ask for the men's price and if they won't give it to me I walk out (dry cleaner, too). I know that the argument is that "women's hair takes more effort," but first of all I only ever get between 1 and 3 inches cut straight off the bottom - takes 10 minutes tops. Second, it's just plain sexist. Changing the oil in some cars may be more difficult than others, but Uncle Ed's (local place) charges everyone the same price...it's your job, there'll be variance, get over it. Do you really, because your hair always looks great. Vkskydiver does the same thing, except I get to help. It can be really fun playing hairdresser. BTW, you don't need to go even one notch sexier. I think you've already pegged the meter.Nataly, your hair looks great, too. Looks like she did a lot of layering, etc. Is that wave all natural or do you have to dry it just right? On behalf of me and the other guys, we're glad you left it long.

wolfriverjoe 1,523 #24 January 23, 2010 Very nice! The price is out of my league, but as you said - once a year isn't too much and if you like it it's well worth it. Just make sure you either braid it or use several bands (maybe one every 2 inches or so) when you go on the bike. Otherwise you will easily spend an hour or so getting the knots out.
