Thanatos340 1 #5 January 14, 2010 I was just there last week. Stayed at the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles. Had a good time there (Although the Craps Table did take a HUGE bite out of my wallet).

AviationTD 0 #7 January 14, 2010 Spent most of my life in St. Louis. Depending on your travelling style, there are a lot of things that you can do in St. Louis: The Arch Union Station Forest Park (Probably too cold at this moment) Science Center (a bit boring for my taste) Botanical Garden (Not my style) Magic House Tour at Busch Brewery Casinos Bunch of Art Museums If you want something specific, Just let me know. usedtajump 1 #8 January 14, 2010 Go, right now, to the nearest gun store and arm yourself. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.
freefal 0 #9 January 14, 2010 I'm not sure if 1.5 days includes the weekend, but if so, check out Soulard market. It's like an episode of Bizarre Foods complete with live chickens and ducks for sale as well as just about any organ meat you can think of. There are also some great places to grab some lunch down there (normal food without the above mentioned organ meats). "Ignorance is bliss" and "Patience is a virtue"... So if you're stupid and don't mind waiting around for a while, I guess you can have a pretty good life!
Remster 30 #10 January 14, 2010 Quote I seem to recall a couple of decent titty bars while I was there.... Take her along, it might open up a whole new aspect of your relationship. We had to drive for what seemed 45 minutes to get out of state lines. Ended up at a place in the middle of nowhere with 3 strip clubs next to each other, and nothing else. We were the only client there, and it sucked (not in a good way). You really need to get out more.Remster

SKYWHUFFO 1 #12 January 14, 2010 Go to "The Hill" The italian district. Any of the Italian rest. are killer. my favorites are zia3 or Kinetos(SP?) they are awesome. Strip clubs you gotta go to the eastside! Illinois, east St. Louis. Centerville PT's is WILD on weekends and Thurs. nights you will see things that will amaze you! The landing is cool, the spaghetti factory is good food and cheap, the you hit the boat afterwards to gamble.

marcandalysse 0 #16 January 15, 2010 Great street next to Washington Univ campus with all kinds of shopping, excellent used CD/vinyl/DVD shop, art house movie theater, good music clubs, variety of international restaurants (thai, moroccan, african, etc) and a rebuilt Root Beer factory where you can watch it bottled while drinking a fresh root beer float! warpedskydiver 0 #18 January 15, 2010 Bud is great in chili instead of water. Bud also makes good beer can chicken Just don't drink it, but it sure beats Dog Style or Old Milwaukee. Come to think of it, I would drink bud before I would drink MGD.
