flytrybe 0 #1 January 6, 2010 Nasser Al Neyadi from the UAE and Omar Alhegelan jumped yesterday from the top of the recently innaugurized Burj Dubai (renamed Burj Khalifa), the tallest building on earth. It wast a legal operation under the eyes of the local media so we should be seeing photos and video all over soon. This is a new World Record for the B of B.A.S.E. cheers! warpedskydiver 0 #14 January 6, 2010 Who holds the record for lowest base jump and surviving? What about the lowest intentional Low Pull? I have my suspicions it was one of three people. Two of which many of you would suspect, the thrid was a guy they might have said fuck you too. He had a habit of wadding up his canopy in a mess then stuffing it in the rig, then doing a low pull. Many times he was cited for it by the Nazis Rainbo has the shirt.

When you get to heights you could survive by jumping without a parachute what really counts as a BASE jump? QuoteWhat about the lowest intentional Low Pull? Everyone intends to pull, and more than a couple have hit around linestretch/inflation and survived. "Records" in BASE tend to be pretty hard to define...Do you want to have an ideagasm? Andy_Copland 0 #16 January 6, 2010 Theres people out there doing all kinds of dumb shit we'll never see or hear. Personally the shortest canopy ride i had was 3 seconds, at that point don't even unstow the brakes and just land on rears. Or unstow the brakes, try to flare and biff in like i did. QuoteLowest Freefall over Hard Ground The current rumor is that a guy called Jim Bruckhauser jumped from 110 feet with a very big pilot chute and someting like an 18' pulled-down apex round. Apparently it’s on record on film, but BASE WIKI is awaiting confirmation of this incredible feat. I find that very hard to believe, but stranger things have happened.1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. Until morale improves, the beatings will continue. warpedskydiver 0 #17 January 6, 2010 Jakee, lets face it you do not have a clue who I am talking about. Some of these guys would land at line stretch on purpose if they could. I will not say who because two of them still have their licenses, one is no longer needing his.

freeflycheri 0 #23 January 6, 2010 Really? This is all you have to talk about after some one jumps from a 2716ft/828m building? The positions of the numbers for the date and who has pulled the lowest? Seriously folks...
billvon 3,006 #24 January 6, 2010 >Who holds the record for lowest BASE jump and surviving? I've jumped 75 feet over water with a round, and 230 feet on a freefall (with a square) back when I was dumber. Should the 75 foot thing even count as a BASE jump? All the parachute really did was keep me vertical and start slowing me down, and even if it hadn't I'd have likely been OK.
warpedskydiver 0 #25 January 6, 2010 Personally I think the jump was cool, but I like the wingsuit base jumps from the fjords better, way better videos. I am happy for the guy really. Plus he did it legally so no Ballpeen hammer treatment by the cops.
