xtravrtsoul 0 #28 December 29, 2009 Quote Quote Yes and it is a life changing, scary as f*cking hell, bunch of shit that I wish on NO ONE. But was able to contain the shit and now I live a peaceful life. Shwoo... Shit.. Sorry to hear that.. Glad it's over with, though.. Thank you but the good that came out of it; is the strenght I have now to stand up for myself and know how to deal with really tough situations without panicking. Knowing that no one can take control over my life like that again as well as standing up to the police department to realize I was not some crazy woman crying wolf and that I was someone to listen to. But I am great now and love life to the fullest everyday!! You create life, life does not create you.
lpdwntnd 0 #29 December 29, 2009 One, made the mistake of shacking up with a crazy. She wouldn't leave me alone, would show up to shows I was playing 500 miles from where she lived. She would show up at my door at 3am, had her arrested once. She would leave messages saying we were soul mates and that she would kill herself if she couldn't be with me(kind of wanted her too, she would of left me alone then!). She was insane. Good times. Last I heard she moved to LA.Stop looking at me

But I am great now and love life to the fullest everyday!! You know, it's funny you should say that.. I was bullied a lot in school, and I consider it one of the best things that's ever happened to me. It may sound perverse, but it really taught me not to let people treat me like shit. I'm not saying the victim is to blame by any means, but I do think you can learn to avoid many bad situations. Glad you stuck up for yourself. It's really shameful that domestic violence/abuse is one of the most poorly handled issues by the law - it's too often not treated with the seriousness it deserves. Lots of women suffer in silence and live their lives in fear.. nigel99 473 #31 December 29, 2009 QuoteNo reason for this poll except I'm slightly bored. I never really had a stalker. I had one guy look me up in the email directory at university and send me an email saying he thought I was hot. But given I never heard from him again, I don't really think it properly counts as "stalking" behaviour... I haven't stalked or been stalked but I do know a true situation. The office manager where I worked was quite hot and one of the engineers (Shah?) got the hots for her. He continually harassed her, sent her pics of himself wanking from the toilets/phoned her while he was wanking/followed her home at night. It scared the hell out of her and she was convinced that he would rape her. He was sacked and a restraining order put in place - but she was terrified for about a year after he was gone.Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived. birdshit 0 #37 December 30, 2009 Yes, its scary and dangerous.. I had a girl that destroyed my house, broke a bunch of my stuff, called me hundreds of times, told me after we had sex that she had aids, flipped my motorcycle over and did $1500 damage to it. Tried to have me ejected from college. Then she tried to have me prosecuted for rape. I was almost arrested by the police. Its not fun. Its scary. LuckyMcSwervy 0 #40 December 30, 2009 Quote It was not fun and looking over your shoulder everywhere you go and do sucks. Yeah, isn't it awesome when guys will peer into windows of bars to watch you? And then break into your apartment when you're not home to take the stuff they've bought you over the course of the relationship (man, I miss those skis)... and then leave notes and flowers on your car in your work parking lot? And call and have your utilities turned off? And go out and buy an engagement ring and come over your house, barge in the front door (when your new boyfriend is on his way over for dinner) and try to put the ring on your finger?? And send 6 dozen roses with fucking psycho love poetry... And go to your Mom's office and beg her to "talk some sense into her"? And drive by your house every single night, multiple times. And try to befriend your brothers with gifts of football box seats and shit like that?? OMG. Man, stalkers fucking rock. Always be kinder than you feel. Misternatural 0 #41 December 30, 2009 holyKaren.... Like I said people are a risky investment- you never know who is going to turn into a vindictive psycho....Wouldn't it be nice if we could all just go about our lives meeting people and not think about the consequences...No can do, I think after age 25 people learn that the world of dating aint all fun and games, it's serious business.... mostly because of people's own insecurities. lets not forget about the damage people do to each other reputation wise. on the bright side sounds like you got a good dude now. Mine did the utility thing too but not calling the company he went to the main box and switched the main circuit off outside. But he did not think I was smart enough to figure that out. Oh and shooting out my parents door and then leaving messages of gun shots on my phone. (changed the number twice and he still got the new one) That was towards the end. Once I did the protection order and the detectives were up his ass he stopped. And he still denied it was him. He was nuts. I can go on and on about what he did but what counts is I am alive and I am here for my son. I have a greatman now and he stuck through the crap and never left my side because of it.
