Amazon 7 #16 December 25, 2009 Quote Tofurkey? Heard about it, to each his/her own. But that chunk of cow is gonna be mighty tasty! I took a couple co-workers to lunch at my favorite teriaki place today.... I had the Nasai Special with chicken katsu... Beef teriaki.. a little fillet of fish and 4 jumbo shrimp. I call it my PETA Meal.. since I am a card carrying member of People Eating Tasty Animal. I was referring to it as my massive quantities of dead animal parts lunch... got all kinds of laughs as I was going thru this little comedy routine I have worked on... dead fish...dead crustacean...dead bird.. and dead cow. I think I upset a couple vegan types...... but hey I had several varieties of bunny food too.. dead rice ...dead lettuce.. dead carrots....and dead mushrooms.. great stuff
JohnMitchell 16 #17 December 25, 2009 We have a big crowd coming over, so we have an extra long 13 pound prime rib sitting in the fridge. I'll roast a pair of chickens for the few that aren't big beef eaters. We cook our prime rib low and slow, at 200 degrees, until the meat hits 133 degrees. Perfect pink from end to end.
