His IMDB profile says that skydiving is one of his hobbies. Pretty sure they live in Austin.

Elisha 1 #106 December 30, 2007 Sean Penn sighted doing AFF Lvl-2 @Perris today. I'm hoping it went well (since I didn't see the landing). I was on the AFF2 load about 3 seats away from him. Maybe he's having the fun Robin wouldn't let him since their now divorcing?

dannydan 5 #111 December 30, 2007 QuoteJimmy Olander from Diamond Rio jumps very regularly. YEPYEP... I jumped with Jimmy in Rantoul (my first home dz "EXTREME SKYDIVING", BC and ScottJohnson were the DZOs with DaveS and PhilVanAnt...) b4 WFFC ever started there. It was in 97 or 1998 at the RantoulFest a few years after the base closed and the city was drumming up ways to get revenue back, so they did this fest and somehow got DiamondRio to show and play... I'll find my pics... and submit asap...
jvcvudu 0 #112 December 30, 2007 Yeah, jumped with Jimmy in a 4 way out of the Caravan from the Ogden Skydiving Center in Utah. Diamond Rio was playing the Weber County Fairgrounds that year. Nice fellow.

gavi_omen 0 #115 December 30, 2007 I haven't been able to find the video of Greg K. of Offspring fame doing the wingsuit, but I did find a video of him doing an Antenna BASE jump. It was pretty cool, but they never showed his opening. Instead, they threw a dummy off the tower and filmed it going in.There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle. How about realizing it really is that person you've only seen on your TV or in a theater? You would have to pretend you have no idea who the heck they are, which is disingenuous. I guess you would need to define what "gawking" or acting crazy really meant. When I was at Perris a year ago, I met Don Swayze (Patrick's brother) and talked to him for a few minutes. I didn't freak out and go OMGWTFBBQ or whatever - just talked to him, but we both new who he was and I couldn't pretend he was just another skydiver. Now, if we were dirt diving a 4-way or something, then of course things would be business as usual.
auburnguy 0 #120 December 31, 2007 I've never been that impressed by celebrity. Whenever I have met one I have always been polite asked a couple of questions but I just don't get the gawking some people do. Whats so special about them? They are people too. I only freak out if its some kind of major business or political leader."If you don't like your job, you don't strike! You just go in every day, and do it really half assed. That's the American way." - Homer Simpson
