Did anyone else catch her on Dr. 90210? At least I think it was her. Saw it a couple weeks ago but not sure how old the show was.

Opie,

I saw that episode also...I'm sure it was her. We should get together with her and Voodoo and do a four way!

Jimmy Olander from Diamond Rio jumps very regularly.

YEPYEP... I jumped with Jimmy in Rantoul (my first home dz "EXTREME SKYDIVING", BC and ScottJohnson were the DZOs with DaveS and PhilVanAnt...) b4 WFFC ever started there. It was in 97 or 1998 at the RantoulFest a few years after the base closed and the city was drumming up ways to get revenue back, so they did this fest and somehow got DiamondRio to show and play... I'll find my pics... and submit asap...

I haven't been able to find the video of Greg K. of Offspring fame doing the wingsuit, but I did find a video of him doing an Antenna BASE jump. It was pretty cool, but they never showed his opening. Instead, they threw a dummy off the tower and filmed it going in.

Dont forget Angie Everhart, folks.

How could anyone forget her

I sat between her legs for 11,000 feet. She may remember me. I was the one calling for a go-around at 7, 8, 10, and 11,000 feet.

I think her brother got hurt on a landing during a weird wind day in Hawaii.

Tiger learned how to skydive through AFF at SD San Diego I believe.

IME, celebrities in skydiving typically just want to jump like everyone else, not be gawked at.

I don't understand what makes people act like that around a "celebrity". They are just people.

How about realizing it really is that person you've only seen on your TV or in a theater? You would have to pretend you have no idea who the heck they are, which is disingenuous. I guess you would need to define what "gawking" or acting crazy really meant. When I was at Perris a year ago, I met Don Swayze (Patrick's brother) and talked to him for a few minutes. I didn't freak out and go OMGWTFBBQ or whatever - just talked to him, but we both new who he was and I couldn't pretend he was just another skydiver. Now, if we were dirt diving a 4-way or something, then of course things would be business as usual.

I've never been that impressed by celebrity. Whenever I have met one I have always been polite asked a couple of questions but I just don't get the gawking some people do. Whats so special about them? They are people too. I only freak out if its some kind of major business or political leader.

I almost got that seat but someone sucker punched me and slammed my face into the door getting on the plane. I just wish I knew who wanted to sit there so bad that they thought they had to beat my ass for it. :S
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

Oh that? That was me. Everyone else just wanted to beat your ass on principle. :P
