Nataly 38 #1 December 14, 2009 Andrea's poll made me think.. Someone once told me she regularly looked at her husband's text messages just to keep him in check.. And I thought "fucking hell - don't you trust him??!" Until that day, it had never even occurred to me to mess around with someone else's phone.. I still think it would be a massive violation of privacy/trust.. Any thoughts on this? Ever been guilty of it? Ever caught someone looking through your phone? LuckyMcSwervy 0 #2 December 14, 2009 Yup. I voted for "hell yeah" but that was only after my ex-husband got busted cheating. I imagine the "good stuff" had already been deleted. Other than that... mrwrong 0 #4 December 14, 2009 No way, never. For me the urge to do such a thing would only mean that I've lost all faith in her and if I'd ever do that I'd just walk away.... If someone ever would go through my phone.... I'd walk away right then and there.... No trust = No relationship.... Just my oppinion... linebckr83 3 #5 December 14, 2009 I've done it before, in my extremely jealous youth days.... so like 3 years ago Both times I did it, I found something I didn't like. From then on I decided I never would. That was a good idea for a year with the new girlfriend until she cheated on me 4 times a couple months ago Luckily, the girl I'm talking to now seems very trustworthy so for now I haven't had any reason to not believe what she says. TrophyHusband 0 #9 December 14, 2009 my wife and i look at the texts on each other's phones all the time. its not a trust thing, its a boredome thing. sometimes when we're in the car she'll look through mine and delete the ones that don't have important info like addresses or phone numbers. she then makes fun of me because everyone who texts me is female (mostly her friends that text me because she usually doesn't text back). sometimes i'll stay in the car with the kids while she goes into a store and she'll leave her phone in the car. i look through the messages and when she gets back i make fun of her for being a fuddy-duddy and only sending about 3 texts per month. linebckr83 3 #10 December 14, 2009 True dat. If you don't trust someone enough to not have to look through their phone for "evidence", then there's major problems in that relationship that need dealing with anyway."Are you coming to the party?
