Hi Jim, Yup, dem is gar, regular ol' gar, alligator gar who cares dey is still ugly mean and hard to kill!! Caught a nice ol' 3 footer down at Melvins bridge an' soaked his head in a jug of clorox, got a nice skull to hang up above the bar!! When we usta fish off the old Manchac bridge we'd see schools of gar 5 foot + swimmin out into lake Maurepas!! After we're all dead an' gone, Gar fish, cockroaches and aligators will rule the earth!!
