I love a good story, too. I did not think Up was feel-good at all as far as "love stories" go. I would discuss in more detail, but do not want to spoil for those who might be interested in seeing it (or forced to by their children. )

Yup. Wall-E wasn't that funny and I thought it was a good movie. Same with The Incredibles. Maybe I just like Pixar films and you don't?

Didn't see Wall-E.

The Incredibles was decent (not on the level of Nemo. Finding Nemo for me is the best medicine for sad, sick, lazy and all other things bad that need to be moved past.)

If you didn't like Up and you didn't like The Incredibles, then Wall-E will probably bore you.

One of the best movies ever, and it's pretty gender-neutral.

Or how about Field of Dreams? A guy movie disguised as a chick flick Or maybe the other way around. Either way, it's one of my favorites...but then again i'm not a typical girl.

Check out Incognito. Great movie, a bit of suspense, thrill, romance, etc. It was an accidental rental about 8 years ago, when we were picking up 3 movies for the price of two & grabbed this as a last resort. Turned out to be the best movie of all three we rented.

Boondock Saints II - Might have to look around a Bit to find a Theater it is playing in but well worth it if you liked the first one.
