He must have told her he would call.. So I'm guessing she was expecting him to call!! I honestly can't understand why this would be upsetting, personally.. I mean, it's not like you can build up an emotional connection to someone that quickly. Or at least, I can't. I never really know what to say to her.. She got upset with me once for not taking her seriously.. And to that I just said it's hard to take her seriously when I know that in a week she will be calling me to tell me everything is wonderful because she has met the new "love of her life", only to repeat the heartbreak cycle the following week, etc.. Then she said something that made me feel a bit bad.. She said no matter how frivolous I may think she's being, her feelings are real and when she feels upset she's like any girl with a broken heart. And she added of all people, I must know what that feels like. She had a point.. So I don't know. She's my friend and I take her for who she is. I don't understand how she could be so emotional but I do *try* to be considerate toward her feelings. Maybe next time I'll just tell her to take it for what it was - just a bit of fun.
