I can't believe that someone in this group of fucking experts didn't figure this out and save everyone a whole lot of worry and expense. That's what I thought, until I worked it out. At standard temperature and pressure, a 13 ft. diameter spherical helium balloon can lift 73.71 pounds. (This of course, includes the weight of the balloon.) I might agree if it were a regular shaped 13 ft balloon.

It looked a bit too flimsy as well.
riddler 0 #106 October 18, 2009 QuoteToo bad the pussy ass reporter didn't roll with what the kid said and stick it to them Well, I won't go so far as to say that the parents are innocent, but kids do fabricate a lot. My daughters do this - make up information that reminds them of previous experiences. I think it's likely that since the boys were all on the previous show, that sitting in front of cameras again, he just remembered what he was told from past experiences. I understand that testimony from children is considered weak evidence in court, and I can see why that's the case. OTOH, I don't see hard evidence that the parents set it all up. Don't get me wrong, I think they probably DID set it up, but I don't understand why the sheriff thinks he has a solid case. Based on what, exactly? I haven't yet seen any real proof to show they did. All I've seen is they had a "body language expert" (if there is such a thing), review the tape, and the kid said something that an adult would consider incriminating (but probably isn't enough to prosecute on).Trapped on the surface of a sphere. That poor boy. Just thinking about how a parent could ask a child to lie like that for the 15 min of fame.
