Of all the cars in my list other than the ones I still have, the only ones I wish I had back are the 51 Chevy and the 280Z.The older I get the less I care who I piss off. BillyVance 34 #9 October 19, 2009 Got my driver's license on my 16th birthday in 1983. I've had the following, with where I got it and how it ended up): 1964 Buick Special 355 Wildcat V8 (grandma's car with 50K miles on it, donated to charity after tranny went kaput at 95K miles) 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera (bought used direct from owner, crashed one month later) 1983 Mazda B2000 pick up (bought used direct from owner with 55K miles, sold to mechanic after 150K miles) 1987 Nissan Sentra (Dad's car, bought from him with 70K miles, sold to mechanic after 160K miles and blown engine) 1993 Ford Mustang hatchback (bought used direct from owner's widow at 9K miles, sold to friend at 85K miles I think, and he later ran it up to 298K before engine failed) 1975 Porsche 914 2.0 (bought direct from owner in Washington state, had it transported cross country, only 55K miles on it, beautiful bad-ass car. Sold to individual buyer who wanted it without ever having to post it for sale, at 80K miles, because I was single with two cars and found it difficult to keep up with both) 1996 Ford Mustang V6 (bought used from CarMax with 14K miles, traded in for Toyota Tundra at 85K miles) Currently own: 2001 Toyota Tundra pick up (bought new from dealership) 2005 Pontiac Vibe (bought new from dealership) and wife brought in her 1996 Mazda Protege that we still own. Protege has 204K+ miles Tundra has 157K+ miles Vibe has 65K+ miles Total: 426K miles under the hoods. All are running good.
