NWFlyer 2 #4 October 14, 2009 Quotethanks, yeah ive been on CL for a few days now...hoping for whatever i can get now. Be patient if you can - took me a few weeks but I got an entire setup for $150 a couple years ago (family whose teenage son had outgrown it in the off-season). There were a lot of false starts but eventually I found something that worked."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

Opendore 0 #6 October 14, 2009 Man... I got stuff, but 160 seems rather long... unless you are skiing. How big are you? 6' 4" 225lbs? Do you ride only 3' pow? I do have some boots, boards, and other stuff. Although, I would need more info to make sure you are not getting screwed. Foot size, your weight, and how tall you are. It would also be nice to know how long you have been riding and where you plan on riding. Take Care. btw. I've been in the sport for 15 years. edit to add: I do ride a 157.25 and I'm 5'9" at 150lbs... but it's only for the halfpipe. I don't have a license for this. d_squared431 0 #8 October 14, 2009 160 for a guy is rather short for a board. I used to ride a 155-165 on powder days. Would depend on if I was hiking, doing back country, or just playing at a resort. I am 5'3 and on regular days would ride a 145-155 also depended on the the type of riding I was going to do that day that would determine the size board I used. Yes, I had several sizes and types of boards.TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly

Opendore 0 #19 October 14, 2009 ------ Hang around at the bottom of black diamond runs. I always see people on snowboards having yard sales there. ------ BWAHAHAHA That was funny. ---- Now DD I hope you are trying to get me zippin, cuz it won't work. Two things... 20 cm in snowboarding is a HUGE gap. If your board is to long it will be hard to control and make you so tired your day will turn out to be an hour. btw. I'm only referring to beginners on groomers. If we are talking powder bowls/back country, well that is a different story. I want to be the one riding my board, not my board taking me for a ride. yes yes. if you race you want a long and stiff board. Take Care (i know, i know... that was more than two things... what evs.. ) I don't have a license for this.
shermanator 4 #20 October 14, 2009 I have a board/ size 10 boots hiding in my carport storage that I have been planning on selling on craigslist for the past 2 years. I'd have to go dig it out to look at the size and brand and such. It is something I had gotten at big 5 sporting goods when I was attempting to learn with some friends who already did. Going to the mountain is too expensive, I could never really get the hang of it, so the board just sits there. Kind of sad. Anywho, you are welcome to give it a try, see if it works for you. Which direction do you live again?CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #

Harmless 0 #23 October 15, 2009 Quoteanyone selling snowboarding gear, i'm looking for a 160-162 board and some gear with it, *ducks and covers* this is gonna get moved too aint it? =D I got a Morrow 162 with awesome Flow Binding and size 12 DC Judge boots... that have been sitting in the closet for almost 2 years... I just can't bring myself to sell them on the chance that I move back to somewhere I can use them again. The board is the only cheap part of my setup, cost me about $150. The boots cost more than twice that. Edit to add: I'm 5'11" and was 175 (200 now) on a 162. Whoever thought that a 162 was too big must not like deep powder."Damn you Gravity, you win again"
