kbordson 8 #2 October 14, 2009 I love having my face kissed by raindrops! One of my favorite memories is watching the fireworks at Epcot in the rain.

NWFlyer 2 #5 October 14, 2009 Spotted on my walk home tonight. Downtown Oakland - where umbrellas go to die."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

xtravrtsoul 0 #7 October 14, 2009 We are getting it too. We have accumulated 2 inches so far today. At least that is what the news has said and from the looks of my newly seeded backyard it looks like more. lol 10" of snow at Mt. Rose ski resort. You create life, life does not create you. lawrocket 3 #8 October 14, 2009 I got to go outside, get the sump pump operating and manage the drainage. About 45 minutes on rainy night play. This is nice! My wife is hotter than your wife.

I think we spend far too much money where I live watering our luscious, tropical landscapes. It never seems to rain here at the beach--always in town. Several months ago we FINALLY had a really awesome storm, with lightning on top of us. Our neighbors were all hanging out in our garage with drinks, shooting the shit as we typically do. And we saw a magnificent strike in the fresh-water pond behind my neighbor's house. Ohhh, the memories... I grew up in Orlando. I miss that lightning, stormy, rain-vortex. I do not miss anything else about Orlando, though. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
