I bought a lawn tractor form sears that was on sale because it sat outside for a season and got some rust. When it shorted out and blew up in march after only 5 months they would not honer the warranty. I sued and won but in my research I found that they treat all large claims the same way. the judge found the same and awarded me more in punitive damages on top of the cash value of replacing the tractor.
