rapter 0 #26 October 2, 2009 Quote In the vein of "here's something different" this is "KLAATU" from their first album. I like the very clean lead guitar, the rhythm change in the middle of the song makes me "head-bob" & the distorted guitar at the end is interesting. Wow, I haven't heard them since the 70s But these days , been listen to Tool http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUXBCdt5IPg and not really "heavy" But I like "the airborne toxic event" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RG7LvRC12Jo&feature=related Only the good die young, so I have found immortality,
RastaRicanAir 0 #27 October 2, 2009 Any TOOL fan should appreciate Stone Sour. They're labeled as a Slipknot "side project," but they started first, and they're stuff is light years beyond the Slipknot kiddie crap. I'd peg them as almost as sophisticated as TOOL. Ignore the two power ballads that got on the radio and check out the rest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Msvs3m6gYM&feature=relatedOrFunV/LocoBoca Rodriguez/Sonic Grieco/Muff Brother #4411 -"and ladies....messin with Robbie is venturing into territory you cant even imagine!-cuz Robbie is

LouDiamond 1 #30 October 2, 2009 Quote Quote I usually don't listen to this type of music as it makes my PTSD flare up but a friend showed this group to me and I couldn't help but notice how the lead singer was able to go from a growl to such a melodic voice all in the same song. She's got a good set off pipes. Straight Line Stitch Remission The vocal change up comes around 1:30 and lasts throughout the whole song Black Veil The vocal change up comes around 1:22 I like heavy head bangin shit, but I'm not impressed. Like I said, its typically not the type of music I go for. But as a metal band you don't often see female lead singers that can actually sing. If you listen to some of their other songs you can hear more of her singing talent and less of the metal growl/screaming that similar bands rely solely on. Again, not my flavor but you can hear that the woman has talent, check it out. What you do to me Bleeding Heart Theory Maybe this is a little more to your liking?
