likestojump 3 #27 September 25, 2009 Quote My exit wieght is 200 ( im 170, and assuming a rig is 30 pounds) im 5'11, and kinda small build. C17 harness willl be too short for you. you would be much better and more comfortable using a C18. not matter how the rig had been rebuilt, I can still spot an old Javelin hiding under that owly rig :)
JohnMitchell 16 #28 September 25, 2009 Some great advice here, kid. Listen to your friends. And remember, used rigs are like city buses. There's always going to be another come along in a while.

skydiverbry 0 #30 September 25, 2009 I think it's kinda pricey...real pricey!! Won't let a rigger inspect it?Not cool! J5 is an aweful big container system for ya don't ya think? Looks?Well that's all in the eye of the beholder but I'm not fond of it. In my thoughts?I'd surely would pass on this deal!! Ketia0 0 #31 September 25, 2009 Thanks guys for all your help.. Yes i did pass up the deal. So i am rigless for now. I want to buy used because i know 1. It *may* get dirty if i biff some more landings like i have...2. After talking to alot of people, i think i will be ready to downsize from 230 to 210, then down to 190. Im thinking about buying a 190, and jsut waiting to use it till i can fly it. That will put me with a W/L of 1.05:1 anywho. we will see what the future holds... im optomistic "In this game you can't predict the future. You just have to play the odds. Bibliophile 0 #34 September 25, 2009 QuoteSo i am rigless for now. I am rigless, too, and there is no shame in that. somethinelse 0 #36 September 25, 2009 oh dude. Do NOT do PayPal gift. They track sales and have lots of safety and security guidelines but NOT for gift. That's suppose to be strictly for like cash wires to friends and family. Sound fishy to me. I just sold a rig thru the classifieds here, and went thru PayPal as a seller, and she as a buyer. Legit. Be careful.
