Don't get this - my OXYGN has survived OK with open visor in freefall. Yep... Me too.. Got video... Turned the closing of the visor into a front flip, so it was stylish
rbagg 0 #27 July 21, 2005 I want to use this thread as what I'm about to ask seems relevant... I just bought my Mamba a week ago after getting recommendations from two local jumpmaster at the california DZ I was visiting and trying it in the store: After jumping it once I noticed that the finish on the bottom end of the helmet is really poor, like someone cut the carbon fiber with a not so sharp knife(?) I asked the sales person about it and I was told that since I've already jumped it + he has no more large Mambas in stock (which is the size I need) I should keep this one (and so I did...) My question is did anyone else notice a bad finish in the Mamba carbon fiber ending (the back of neck area) or did I got a lemon? Any opinion on BH customer service? (Not that it's likely I will send it from Israel to the US...) BTW - Is any baking possible/necessary with a new Mamba? Regards Royi
