I place a small amount of importance on minor stuff and a large amount of effort into major stuff. Arguments will continue until resolved. People will fight about inconsequential things until they have destroyed any positive feelings. I avoid fighting about the minor stuff by admitting guilt immediately and apologizing, regardless of my guilt. Otherwise, a major amount of effort will be put into "resolving" a minor problem. I felt superior to him because he couldn't even keep up with me watching Jeopardy. My ex-husband is a freaking genius and it was nice having someone to have an intelligent conversation with, not just about how good of a workout he had at the gym and did his abs look cut.
