I would recommend anything by Bill Bryson. He writes about his life experiences, and he is hilarious. I really liked 'A Walk in the Woods' and 'A Short History of Nearly Everything'.
And for the record: the appropriate ranking of cool modes of transportation is jet pack, hover board, transporter, Batmobile, and THEN giant ant.

'Round Ireland With a Fridge

A light read, nicely written and highly entertaining.

I LOVED that book. Found it on a random clearance table for less than a dollar. It's been passed around to 10 or 15 friends by now. Everyone has loved it.

"Lone Survivor"

"Survivors Club"

"Chasing Daylight"

"I hope they serve beer in hell"

"Common Sense"

Anything by Chuck Klosterman, but especially "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs"

Its fiction, and a cartoon, but "The Jungle Book" is GREAT!!!

Alright- I've been spending alot of time at the library and I'm always undecided on what books to get.

I'm a fan of non fiction, no fantasy sci-fi for me.

Does any one have books they can recommend?
.

I've just been reading Walden by Henry
David Thoreau. It's very good!
