We watched the world championships that were in London recently and my son was really inspired so we did some research (he is 9 years old). It seems that gymnastics is the best "safe" way into the sport so he is signed in and loving it. Ironically the only downside is that he is the only boy amongst 15 kids - I wonder how long before that becomes an up-side for him.Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived. Some of the martial arts clubs in London also teach free-running so maybe for adults that is a way to go? The current world champ did 5 years of breakdancing not sure if you have seen any clips but damn he is has serious upper body strength http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3KjQdVfly8Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived. And man, can they do a PLF or what? Unless, of course, they are being chased by an angry chicken...
