Nataly 38 #1 September 1, 2009 It so weird.. Growing up, I can't remember being angry. Maybe I'm just suffering from amnesia, but I remember a whole host of upset (occasionally including being pissed off), but not anger.. Until I bought a house with someone and then every time we discuss it (and almost always disagree), I feel my blood absolutely BOIL. It's amazing.. I didn't think I had it in me, but this one particular thing I find incredibly infuriating! Can anyone relate? Anyone know why suddenly I'm unleashing all this fury? shah269 0 #2 September 1, 2009 Anger is a luxury afforded to more stable people. I had and have an anger problem. I can't seem to forgive nor forget. Yoga helps, so does riding. Skydiving was the best!Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay. The only thing that falls from the sky is birdshit and fools! PLFXpert 0 #13 September 1, 2009 Angry as in "pissed off"? Sure. Angry as in "vengeful"? Never. I try not to spend much time in the negative. For me, it took no more than a couple times being so mad at something only to realize later my anger changed nothing and I could have spent that time and energy more wisely toward achieving my goal. If I really want something, I will get it. But, it will take longer if I am pissed I do not have it yet. So, I smile and move on. I am curious, though, with whom did you buy a house? (Business partner? Friend? Spouse? Loved-one?)Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

(Business partner? Friend? Spouse? Loved-one?) Thankfully, it's not a vengeful feeling, but I feel really, really, really wound-up/upset Bought the house with my now-ex. I could go into details about how I thought we would get married & last forever, but that would only encourage people to point out how stupid I was, etc., etc., and I wouldn't really be able to disagree.. No need for details. Just my own sociological curiosity. FWIW, I think the now-ex-whom-you-thought-you-would-marry is far less stupid than several other common scenarios. NWFlyer 2 #18 September 1, 2009 Nope - not worth my energy. And when I do find myself heading in that direction it's a sign that something else is "off" in my current situation ... and I try to figure out what it is."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please.
