Do you have a set bedtime??

Recommended Posts

I'm usually in bed kinda early...sometimes 2100-2200.

But then I'm usually up at 0300 too to get the day satrted.

Have a feeling this is gonna change once I start back in college...us old men need our sleep;)B|:P:D:D

I like to get up EARLY and get things done before there is a rush of people in my way.

Heading to the gym early when no one else is around is what I like the best...no waiting for equipment then!!:)

I haven't had a set sleep schedule since I started doing rotating shift work 25 years ago. Here's a typical week.

Monday- work from 4 PM until Midnight
Tuesday- from 2PM until 10 PM.
Wednesday- 8 am 'til 4 pm
Thursday - 7 until 3 pm
Friday- either 6 am until 2 pm, or come in Thursday night at midnight, and work the Friday graveyard from midnight until 8 am Friday morning.

No wonder I have no Circadian Rythm anymore.:S

I dont have a set time, but I usually end up crashing sometime between 3 and 4am every night. Of course, I dont usually wake up until sometime between 9 and 10am either! ;)

not really my body clock has been slammed for the last 10-15 years doing continental shift patterns :S. they really screw you up doing 4x 12hr dayshifts 6am-6pm then all change and 4 daysd off followed by 4 nights same execpt 4x12hr nightshifts [:/] coming of nights is the worst. You either get up really early or don't sleep at all, if you do sleep then your up that night..............joy:ph34r:

personally i think these types of shift patterns should be banned with no more than a 8 hour shift allowed.

I work a part time job two nights a week. Bed time on those nights depends on what time I get home.
Typically I go to bed between 10 and 11. I pick up my book. Sometimes I read 1 paragraph sometimes I read the whole damn thing. :P

Not to brag or anything... :) I'm retired. If I feel like sleeping from 2200-0600, I do. If I feel like sleeping from 0200-1000, I do. If I'm heading to or from my GF's, I drive all night (it's the ONLY way to get through Virginia without getting totally frustrated by the "I'm driving in the left lane & I NEVER use a rear-view mirror & I feel much safer driving along side this truck" citizens of said commonwealth.

i typically have two shift starts during the week- either 11am or 6pm. if im working at 11 i usually go to bed at 3am, if im working at 6pm i go to bed whenever. at the weekend shifts are longer so might not get out of the place til 2.30am and then might be working in the morn again so i take it conservative at the weekend

So,does anyone her go to bed at the same time each day(set bedtime)or just when you start to get tired or run out of things to post.

Usually depends on the little baby. When she's ready for her bedtime bottle, usually between 10:30 pm and midnight, and also when I run out of things to post. :P

When I do retire, I plan to unplug my alarm clock and put it in a drawer for a while. :)

Me too, I usually head to be around 10, do my nighttime "chores" and aim to be asleep around 11. Most of the time it doesn't work that way and I get up and add more sleeping pills, but that's a whole other issue. :P

I have to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I go to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill....
