JohnMitchell 16 #7 August 25, 2009 I haven't had a set sleep schedule since I started doing rotating shift work 25 years ago. Here's a typical week. Monday- work from 4 PM until Midnight Tuesday- from 2PM until 10 PM. Wednesday- 8 am 'til 4 pm Thursday - 7 until 3 pm Friday- either 6 am until 2 pm, or come in Thursday night at midnight, and work the Friday graveyard from midnight until 8 am Friday morning. No wonder I have no Circadian Rythm anymore.

pincheck 0 #11 August 25, 2009 not really my body clock has been slammed for the last 10-15 years doing continental shift patterns . they really screw you up doing 4x 12hr dayshifts 6am-6pm then all change and 4 daysd off followed by 4 nights same execpt 4x12hr nightshifts coming of nights is the worst. You either get up really early or don't sleep at all, if you do sleep then your up that night..............joypersonally i think these types of shift patterns should be banned with no more than a 8 hour shift allowed. micduran 0 #13 August 25, 2009 I work a part time job two nights a week. Bed time on those nights depends on what time I get home. Typically I go to bed between 10 and 11. I pick up my book. NealFitz 0 #17 August 25, 2009 i typically have two shift starts during the week- either 11am or 6pm. if im working at 11 i usually go to bed at 3am, if im working at 6pm i go to bed whenever. at the weekend shifts are longer so might not get out of the place til 2.30am and then might be working in the morn again so i take it conservative at the weekendDudeist Skydiver #170 You do not need a parachute to skydive, you only need one to skydive again
