It was a "normal" day in every sense of the word and I was all settled in to watch a couple videos with my cat and dog when some friends came over and asked me to come into my living room. Surprise! most of my local skydiving friends and a few of my film-work friends were there, plus folks from an old motorcycle group I used to ride a lot with. Definitely an interesting mix and a lot of people met new people. Lots of beer, pizza, KFC, all that fun, bad-for-you food, and my first night in a couple of months where I wasn't bombed on pain meds by 9:30 and asleep by 10.00....
