Kris 0 #4 July 21, 2005 Good lord! You may want to put up a low-res version. This one is 42MB and sitting on a rather slow pipe. I'm getting about 12K/s download and I'm on a 6MB/s connection. Zoter 0 #7 July 22, 2005 Nice video.....interesting and instructional The ending was ...IMHO...a little harsh ! (The download for this took the best part of 35mins !...RWS may want to do something about the bandwidth on that clip !)
pilotdave 0 #8 July 22, 2005 I offered Bill Booth a home for it when I saw it at the PIA symposium. I like the skyhook so much I'd even host it for free. Dave
tso-d_chris 0 #9 July 22, 2005 Wow. Definitely worth the wait. Some hard core footage at the end. For Great Deals on Gear

pilotdave 0 #13 July 22, 2005 Trying to get it up on my site for them, but I can't seem to get more than 14 megs of it to download for some reason. I stayed up till midnight thinking I was downloading the whole thing last night, then realized the link in Kris's post is to the wrong durn video. Anyone already downloaded the whole file that can upload it to SkydivingMovies.com? Don't need a description or anything, just upload the file... I've got the rest. billbooth 10 #19 July 22, 2005 Thanks, Dave. The download, even at high resolution, took just a few minutes. Guys, this is a newer, more complete, version of our Skyhook video. The old version is also on Skydivingmovies.com, so don't get them confused. The new version is labeled "2005 Skyhook History", or something like that. Follow the above link. By the way, the photographer in the last sequence was NOT injured.
