Classic movies from the 80's

Recommended Posts

I'm watching AMC now and guess what's on? Ferris Bueller's Day Off! B|

That movie still cracks me up. The scene in the principal's office where Ferris and his friend schemed to get Sloane out of school had me rolling. Good times.... :D

Any favorites from that movie or same era?

Yeah, you know we're getting old when our movies from the time we were in high school are showing up on American Movie Classics. (Class of '86 here) :S:D

it is shit

It's full of hot guys, either in uniform or half-dressed playing beach volleyball.

Were there airplanes?

Oh yeah, that movie was da bomb.

There was also "Bad Boys" with Sean Penn too. Good drama.

Loved the soda cans in the pillowcase trick. :D

Agree,
My favorite: Terry Gilliam's Brazil.

Some ladies and I were talking about this one the other day...

The BeastMaster!!

Gotta luv a man with two ferrets, a eagle, and a black tiger!!

I love that movie! We begged my mom for ferrets for two years after seeing it. Used to watch it twice a week at least!

About Last Night

God, I must've watched that movie 50 times.

"Look, if he forgets to call one day, no big deal; two days, it's an oversight. Honey, he hasn't called you in three days; he's sleeping with somebody else."

We had a debate the other day at the firehouse. Was "About Last Night" a chick flick? I say no because of all of the Demi naked shots and the male point of view. What a classic!

And Porky's is the funniest movie of that era. The principal's office with Ms. Ballbricker describing the tallywhacker, priceless.
