SkymonkeyONE 4 #10 July 17, 2009 -warm weather year round. Hot and balmy much of the time -flip flops or bare feet as normal footwear -what are long pants for? -skydiving and living on the DZ in Z-Hills -riding my Harleys in shorts and sneakers -being less than one hour from a fantastic bunch of beaches I could do without the daily rainshowers in the summer, but I LOVE the towering cumulous clouds that make for such fantastic wingsuit flights. LAMO!!In the winter months you have to get up so early to shovel the drive way so you can get your car out. Then you have to take a shower then you have to shovel again...Then all the tourist decide to get on the road and drive 2mph cause that is what they do. I swear you only sleep about 4 hours a night cause when you get back home you have to shovel the drive way just to get into the drive way. There is no parking on the roads between Oct-May and if you park your car to shovel and a cop drives by he gives you a ticket. The toper is after you get the drive way done the damn plow goes by and it is back in your drive way. But to have the lake within a 2 minute walk makes it all worth it..TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly

GaVak 0 #17 July 17, 2009 The strange/bizarre news reported on fark.com about it? The rest is negative: It's hot, there are lots of bugs, it's full of retired northerners who can't drive, and it seems to be a magnet for the batshit crazy. ~Gav

Fixed it for you :) Oh and your two year registration is $20 more than Oregon's and they have a 4 year option for $108 (yes, for four yrs ) The shuttle... yeah that's cool. As for the beach... to each their own. I prefer secluded sandy coves surrounded with rocky cliffs and dark green foliage.
