The photo represents almost exactly how far away they were. If you zoom in and look at the dolphin on the right you will see its head is out of the water. I know--shitty picture. I did not have my camera (we were just out walking Cruz) but suddenly I was an expert assuring summer townies not to be afraid and that yes, manatees can swim in the ocean. I am sure I will come up with something else. I have been on a mission to step out of my comfort zone lately. It is weird and I will not elaborate, but I am doing it and it is awesome! My poor BFF whom I love as a sister and who always worked harder and did more than me (and whom I admire greatly to this day), was sadly influenced by my badass late-teen behavior and came with me one rainy day in college to get my second tattoo. She left with a bouncing-tailed Tigger on the side of her lower back. (For the record, I did NOT advise this.) gonzalesna 0 #64 July 3, 2009 No pictures here, but I'm definately the happiest I've been in a long time. Been foggy and rainy all week. Yesterday, the sun tried to break through, but never really made it. It rained again last night, but today, I went outside for a cigarette and saw broken skies with large blue patches! Finally a sunny day! It's gonna happen! Here in a bit, I'm gonna ride up Mt. Fuji. It'll be the first time I've been up since November and the first time I've ever gone up on the motorcycle. I'm bringing the camera and hopefully, I'll have some photo-worthy material when I get up there. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse.
