cocheese 0 #26 July 1, 2009 Please go out and drive right now. Take all this out on somebody that can't drive very well. We'll all thank you for it later and remember, the life you save might be your own.

TEB6363 0 #28 July 2, 2009 On a serious note - I quit chewing tobacco back in 2001… Trying cold turkey did not work well for me. Acting like more of an ass than usual, not feeling well… Just not good... The Gum did not work for me either... However, the Patches where you start on a strong dose and work your way down after a week or two DID!! This is a big thing to do and you will be very glad when you quit... But, do get some help with it. The price was no big deal for how much easier it was for me... Literally, I put the patch on and could feel myself relax from the craving/withdrawal… Good Luck… Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!! MikeJD 0 #34 July 2, 2009 Give in and light up. You know you're too weak-willed to quit - might as well just accept it. After all, you gave it your best shot for a few hours.psychology>

RonD1120 62 #36 July 2, 2009 Quote this non smoking shit is not going well. The craving is BAAAAADDDDD!!!!and I'm starting to be an ass...well more of one then usualBry It's tough. But, it gets easier as time goes by. Clean time strengthens clean time. I quit drinking, drugging and cigarettes at the same time. I found that running helps relieve the homicidal tendencies. That was very important for me because I'm terrified at the thought of being in jail. My first run was 0.6 miles. I hyperventilated to the point of tunnel vision but did not pass out. I kept at it and a year later I had one year of clean time and I could run 10 miles. Hang in there. You are fighting the spirit of bondage and addiction. This is one of the minor ones, no match for skydiver.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them.
