LisaH 0 #1 May 27, 2009 How many here have attended theirs? I've never been to any of mine and my 30th is August 1st. Debating on whether or not I should go. It might be fun. Be yourself! MooOOooOoo
guppie01 0 #2 May 27, 2009 QuoteDebating on whether or not I should go. sssssshhhhhh you! Go and knock the socks off `em! Yes, I attended my 10 year, and a few others... missed my 20 last year. But, it's easy for me to attend reunions b/c we have them every other year. Matter of fact there are 2 this year; one in Vegas in June, and one in Portland in July. HA, my 10 year reunion is how I got into skydiving. One of my classmates is a military jumper and he took us for a tandem jump. Good fun girl!!! g"Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?" Raddest Ho this side of Jersey #1 - MISS YOU OMG, is she okay? BillyVance 34 #3 May 27, 2009 Went to my 10th, missed my 20th (first newborn). Hoping there is a 25th coming in a couple of years. It's fun! You get to see all the jocks get fat and bald, the cheerleader popular types get fat, and the nerdy classmates come out looking like a million bucks! That is, if you were a nerdy dork yourself. NWFlyer 2 #5 May 27, 2009 Haven't been to a single one of my high school or college reunions, but I have attended my 5 and 10 year MBA reunions, which were a blast. The college ones are too big for me to think that they'll be fun, and since my friends that I would want to see span across multiple class years, it's fairly unlikely that I'd spend much time catching up with people I actually knew back then. I'd like to get to a high school one - looking at the photos from my 20th this year on Facebook was a lot of fun, but since my high school was on the other side of the country it's challenging. Maybe I'll make it to 25, till then it's fun reconnecting on FB."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

VanillaSkyGirl 6 #8 May 27, 2009 I've never been, either. If you want to go, you should totally do it, Lisa. It might be interesting. My 20th high school reunion is September 26th, 2009 but I can't make it. It's during Jump for the Cause. I'll be a little busy during that time. VanillaSkyGirl 6 #10 May 27, 2009 Quote And busy for a good reason. You can always order the memory book most reunions put out. Meh, I'm not really interested. I have never really cared so much about silly traditions, nor do I care much about the reunions. I truly wish everyone well, but I'm happy with or without knowing about the latest in everyone's lives. That said, I have many of my high school friends on my facebook. They found me on there over the last year and a half, which is why I began spending more time on there. I also deleted some of them, after a while. I don't see the point of keeping in touch, if we have so little in common. I'm happy checking in with some of my old friends every so often, though. skymama 37 #12 May 27, 2009 I've never been to a HS or College one, in fact my 25th got cancelled last year due to lack of interest by people and I had about 700 in my graduating class. I was on one swim team for 8 years, I'd go to one of those reunions. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

I was an ex-cheerleader. Really, I hated the whole cheeleading thing, but I loved the athleticism & dance part. Anyway, Billy Vance...how dare you ! Are you claiming that 20 years later, I wouldn't still look just as good in my cheerleading skirt? Sure, I gained almost 10 lbs. since high school... Maybe I shouldn't try to squeeze into my old school uniform... Damn you, Billy Vance for opening my eyes to my un-cheerleader like appearance! And now...back to my bon-bons and ice cream!
