The_Don 0 #26 May 28, 2009 Went to my 5th, 10, & 20th. Realized that I didn't like all those people back then & I still don't like them. The people that are my friends I still keep in touch with anyway.I am NOT being loud. I'm being enthusiastic!
warpedskydiver 0 #27 May 28, 2009 I have never attended. They asked my sister why I did not go. She told them that I did not have much in common with them, and a few of them might be able to still walk if I did not show up. They were assholes then, smug pansy ass, sissies. Now they are the same but older. I don't need to hear "action stories" from real estate agents and factory workers. When I got out of the service I was limping badly and ran into one of them. He said what happened? I responded that I got hurt. That jackass replied that I was stupid for joining. I gave him a percussion tuning.
Amazon 7 #28 May 28, 2009 I went to my 10th.... I had changed and grown... many of them had not. I had travelled the world, most of them were still living in the same neighborhood and some had not even changed their phone numbers from when they were in high school. The old addage of " You can never go home again" certainly applied. I will pass on my 40th next year... no need to return again.
Shotgun 1 #29 May 28, 2009 Quote WAIT A MINUTE .... how did this Quote ...... the cheerleader popular types get fat, ..... slide by without a single howl of outrage ??? You mean there are no currently 'big-boned' ex-'popular cheerleaders' out there in the diving community (small as it is) ... I'll register my outrage for you .... consider it registered.... I was a cheerleader for a couple of years, but now I'm 37 and about 110 lbs. I must have been freakin' tiny back then though, because I tried to put on my old cheerleading skirt a while back and couldn't even get it over my hips. As for the reunion thing, I ended up quitting school and getting my GED, so I don't know if I'm welcome at the class reunions. (I guess my 20th would have been this year!) It's sort of been on my mind lately though, since I've been talking to old school friends on facebook who I had lost touch with. It would be sort of funny to meet up with them all again. You should go, Lisa!
mrwrong 0 #30 May 28, 2009 Never been to any of them and never will... I don't have anything in common with those folks anymore and I don't have any desire to see them again.“The sum of intelligence on the planet is a constant; the population is growing.” - George Bernard Shaw He who dies with the most toys, wins..... dudeist skydiver # 19515 Buy quality and cry once!
