The towering dark clouds, a good light show, and some good window rattling boomsThere was a truly spectacular one a few years ago. I was across town, helping move some stuff for a friend when it came through. The boiling dark clouds caused a comment that it wouldn't be too surprising to see the gates of hell appear in the middle of the cloud. It was that dark and evil looking. Of course, the tornado sirens went off a minute later, and the weather radar on tv showed the hook echo fairly close to my neighborhood. Fortunately, the tornado only damaged a couple warehouses and threw several empty semi-trailers around. My yard (and the whole eighborhood) was full of insulation from one of the damaged buildings. Two of the guys helping move went for a drive to check damage and found a hot-tub in the middle of the road (from one of the warehouses). They moved it out of the way, but left it there (with thoughts of grabbing it - "Honest officer, we were just taking it back!")"There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit."
