LuckyMcSwervy 0 #1 June 25, 2009 I'm really looking forward to this weekend. Tomorrow is my friend Dan Kulpa's birthday. He went in on January 2nd in Sebastian. He would've been 23 years old tomorrow. So, Saturday at CK there's a gathering of friends to celebrate his life at a place he loved... http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/event.php?eid=81310542402 I'm expecting a demo canopy from PD tomorrow afternoon, so after work I'll run by my house to grab it and then head to the DZ for a sunset jump in Dan's memory on his birthday with some of our friends and then some, probably many, bottles of beer. Looks like the weather is finally breaking for the better here in New Jersey this afternoon. Thank God!! So many of us are saying we're in a depressing funk!! WE NEED SUN!!! So.... what's up with you this weekend??Always be kinder than you feel.

OlympiaStoica 0 #3 June 25, 2009 Looks like we'll be getting some sun here in Boston this weekend as well - it actually came out for a couple of hours earlier today. The ortho cleared me for resuming "almost normal" activity so I'll be spending my weekend trying to ease my way back to the gym, a trip to the DZ to see my friends, taking mom around town ... and who knows what else. shropshire 0 #7 June 25, 2009 Remembering friends and meeting friends is a GREAT way to spend a weekend..... When you remember ... smile (if it was me, that's what I'd want). We're going to be meeting friends, 2 sets... 1 set are gypsing around the world and we're staying with the others, in Chamonix. (.)Y(.) Heatmiser 0 #8 June 25, 2009 It is fucking hot here, so I am seriously thinking of doing a 10000 ft cross country jump, just to get free air conditioning! guppie01 0 #14 June 25, 2009 I did it in NZ. I wore a bathing suit, they threw in 3 large buckets of water. If you decide to wear clothes, bring a change of clothes. I had so much fun, when I came back to the states I tried to proposition Skydive Elsinore to invest in a Zorb to bring in add'l business, but they weren't interested. There is a hill there that would be perfect for it. I'm jealous, I'd love to do it again! g "Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?" boinky 0 #16 June 25, 2009 Wow! Your weekend sounds so wonderful! Unfortunately, I will not be so lucky. My business partners have decided to unexpectedly back out of the business. I have to spend Saturday going over inventory with them. Then writing them a check for any merchandise that I have to buy out. Then I have about one month to decide whether to carry on and try to find a new partner, reduce inventory and take a smaller business space, or to take a break and close up for a while. If I close up for a while, I'll have to move and store all of the merchandise, furniture and equipment. Oh joy! NOT! Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts?
