Attaching Picture to Profile

Can someone please tell me the best way to attach a photo to my profile? i have a digital camera but the attachment is too large. Do i have to scan it in? Or what did you all do? Thanks.

I used photoshop.
I bet if you post this in bonfire... someone will give you better advice.

Download the picture to your computer then you can resize it. I'm not sure about the size but you can resize both in pixels or KB. Then just attach it on your profile page.

As for downsizing your pic to the 10kb max...it can be done using a photo program such as photoshop of even using the skew function in MS paint.

Hey Emily..

If you can't figure it out, you can email me the picture and I will resize it for you and send it back. It only takes about 30 seconds if you have Photoshop.

Ivan, I think that is the progame I have, but I still have problems some times getting the picture down to the right KB. I see options to re-size the picture, but I don't see where I can change the KB.

please help! I was able to get my picture sized correctly, but I don't know where to upload it on the edit profile page. Is there a spot to upload it from my computer? Or, do I have to paste a link in the (edit profile; user profile) section under (forum settings) in the box that reads Max Size:4 lines, 200 characters????? like [IMG]http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii354/youngbuck5757/personal/PROFILE.jpg[/IMG]????

Edit Picture (little link above your personal info)
Add profile picture and upload the pic. If you don't see it right away, try refreshing your page. If you still don't see it, clear your cookies, close your search engine and open the site back up again.
